S.G. Iron Ferritic and Pearlitic

General Note:
S. G. Iron having spheroidal graphite nodules is truly a product of the twenty first century. It combines the advantages of Cast Iron – good castability, pressure tightness, machinability and wear resistance, with the engineering advantages of steel weldability and hardenability. The superior properties of S. G Iron have enabled castings to replace more costly Steel Forgings, welded structures etc.

Process Of Manufacturing:
 

Machine Moulded  Casting :

Green Sand Systems with pneumatic Moulding Machine and Cold Box Cores.

Capacity  : 9500 Ts. per annum. 

Weight Range : 500 Grams to 20 Kg per piece.

Hand Moulded Casting :

Phenolic base resin coated (no bake) sand system through Continuous Mixer

Capacity : 4500 Ts. per annum.

Weight Range : 30 Kg to 700 Kg per piece.
